Spectrum to offer Tellabs training

/ 25 June, 2012

Spectrum Training has signed a partnership agreement with Tellabs  to provide Tellabs certified training and lab services to local telecom service providers in the Middle East.

“We are pleased to add Tellabs solutions and products into our area of expertise. Service providers can now enhance their technical knowledge locally without the need for travel,” said Ajay Singh Chauhan, CEO, Spectrum Group. “We provide well-equipped training and lab facilities in several Middle East countries and we also offer in-house training for service providers.”

New specialised training courses on mobile backhaul for 2G, 3G and 4G networks will help service providers optimise their current networks, reduce operating and capital expenses, and plan future network investments.

“The Middle East region is one of the fastest-growing telecommunications markets in the world, where there is a real need for the high quality engineering and telecom expertise,” said Tarcisio Ribeiro, vice president, Europe, Middle East & Africa at Tellabs.

Tarcisio further added “Partnership with Spectrum Training enables us to improve and expand our certified training and lab service portfolio locally, helping our customers to succeed as the market continues to expand.”
