DarkMatter, the first ever Cyber Security Innovation Partner for GITEX Technology Week, is making its debut at the 2016 issue of the trade show.

“DarkMatter is in the business of securing nations, enterprise and individuals in order for them to be able to conduct their operations and run their lives uninterrupted,” says Harshul Joshi, Senior Vice-President, Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance, DarkMatter. “Much of this security layer exists within the digital realm given the interconnectivity that exists in our modern world.

“Many of the themes of this year’s GITEX resonate with us, including innovation and the role of start-ups in solving already complex yet still evolving problems. We are keen to communicate the importance of establishing a robust cybersecurity posture in order for citizens to live safer, more fulfilling and happier lives.”

Joshi went on to highlight how technology shifts are demanding a rethink of holistic security strategies. “We believe that digital transformation requires a reassessment of how cybersecurity solutions are viewed and deployed,” he said. “DarkMatter is amongst an elite few cybersecurity firms globally who are able to offer end-to-end provisioning of capabilities. We shall be showcasing how this manifests from cyber governance, risk & compliance all the way through to cyber network defence, managed security services, public key infrastructure, secure communications, infrastructure and systems integration, and smart solutions. We will also discuss our progress in the areas of Business analytics and intelligence, as well as Blockchain.”

In association with VMware, DarkMatter is currently looking to develop a virtualisation and cloud solution for enterprise clients, while the company has also partnered with Microsoft to provide infrastructure solutions. DarkMatter is also announcing strategic partnerships with FireEye, NetApp, Guidance, EMC and vArmour, at GITEX.

DarkMatter will also have its ‘Resiliency Model’ on display, a proprietary methodology that showcases the interconnected impact of a cyber-incident on varying critical national infrastructure entities.
